Edens Education Ltd is led by Denise Edens, who believes in the power of qualifications to open new doors for people.  She has worked in awarding organisations and examination centres for over 30 years.  With a reputation for high quality, thorough work and being a ‘safe pair of hands’, Denise set up the consultancy after heading up the ISMM, an awarding organisation for sales people, and working in a variety of roles at Edexcel/Pearson, the UK’s largest awarding organisation.

As Director of Education and Responsible Officer, Denise led the ISMM through Ofqual recognition and developed new vocational qualifications for the sales sector, supported by model assignments and study guides.

At Pearson, Denise led cross-company projects to develop suites of new Edexcel GCSEs and A levels.  She also led ‘live’ examination cycles for GCSE, GCE and GNVQ qualifications.

Formerly a teacher of Modern Languages in London, and of English as a Foreign Language in Italy and Spain, Denise is a qualified project manager, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors (CIEA) and an Associate Member (Consultant) of the Federation of Awarding Bodies.
